I can't find where to put the phone number to dial under MacOS X.<br />

Go to System Preferences, select Network.<br />
On the Location pull-down, select New Location, and name it<br />
"Home Dialup" for example.<br />

The Show pull-down should have your modem selected.<br />
<br />
On the TCP/IP tab:<br />
Select Configure: Using PPP<br />
<br />
On the PPP tab:<br />
Service Provider: SWCP<br />
Telephone Number: 938-1410<br />
Alternate Number: 998-5999<br />
Account Name: Your "P" account user name<br />
Account Password: Your "P" account password<br />
<br />
Click the PPP Options button. Turn on the "Connect automatically..."<br />
option, click OK.<br />

Click the Apply Now button.<br />
