You&#039;re<br /> probably receiving an error similiar to this: &quot;Your email message to<br /> &lt;address&gt; with the subject &lt;subject&gt; was unable to be sent because the<br /> connection to your mail server was interrupted. Please open your email<br /> client and re-send the message from the Sent Messages folder.&quot; In the<br /> left hand corner of the screen, you may also see an error code from<br /> Norton, 1003-9.<br /> <br /> <br /> ====Resolution====<br /> There are a few possible fixes for this issue. First, re-run Live <br /> Update for Norton. With any luck, they will have released a patch to<br /> correct the issue. Failing that, the first step is to disable e-mail<br /> scanning. Follow these instructions to do so:<br /> <br /> # Close any open email programs.<br /> # Start Norton AntiVirus.<br /> # After the program opens, click the Options button.<br /> # In the left pane, under the Internet heading, click Email.<br /> # In the right pane, go to the &quot;What to scan&quot; section, <br /> # Uncheck the &quot;Scan outgoing Email&quot; box. <br /> # Click OK.<br /> # Close Norton AntiVirus.<br /> <br /> If this doesn&#039;t correct the problem, completely disable Norton.
