====Question or Symptom====
How does one configure FileZilla to connect to ftp.swcp.com , and once
connected, how does one transfer files?

====Resolution====
=====INSTALLATION=====
FileZilla is a GUI-based (Graphical User Interface) File
Transfer application that is very easy to use. The installation file for
this application is available either from the SWCP Start-UP CD or online
at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/filezilla

Once the file is downloaded, it should be installed, simply by double-clicking the
installation icon and accepting most of the defaults. The one place
where one would want to change from the default is on the General
Settings screen, you will be asked "Run FileZilla in secure mode?" The
default is "Do not use secure mode" and you should switch this to "Use
secure mode".

Follow the rest of the defaults and the program will
finish its installation and be ready to use immediately, no reboot
required.
=====CONFIGURATION=====
To use the application, Click "Start" "Programs" or "All Programs" depending on which version of the Windows operating system you're using. That menu should contain an entry for "FileZilla". Click that, and from the subsequent menu, choose "FileZilla".

This will open the application. Click on "File", then click
on "Site Manager". From the window that pops up, click on the "New Site"
button at the bottom of the window. Several fields will become active on
the right side of the window. Where it asks for "Host", type in
ftp.swcp.com, and change the "Port" number from 21 to 22. Click on the
dropdown menu next to the box named "Servertype" and currently reads
"FTP".

From the list that appears, select "SFTP using SSH2". Change the
"Logontype" from Anonymous to Normal, then enter your username in the
"user" box. Click on "Save and exit" and the dialog box will close. You
can then connect by clicking on "File", "Site Manager", the
"ftp.swcp.com" entry in the "My FTP Sites" list, and then click on
"Connect".
=====USAGE=====
File transfer is a snap. Using the windows below the
toolbar where you just logged in, you can navigate through the Windows
file system on your local machine in exactly the same fashion as using
Window's built-in Windows Explorer. For uploading files to your account
on our FTP server, locate the files in the window on the left (labelled
"Local Site"), and locate the destination directory on our FTP server in
the Window on the right (labelled "Remote Site"), for example, website
files will be stored in the folder "public_html" on our server. Then
simply drag-and-drop the files you need to move. Downloading files from
our server is thesame process in reverse. In the window on the right
locate the files you need to download, on the left, locate where you
want to store them on your local computer, and drag-and-drop them to the
destination folder.
