====Question or Symptom====
I have a REALLY old DSL circuit and I'm getting a speed bump. Qwest says
I have to upgrade from CAP to DMT. HELP!

====Resolution====
You will have to upgrade your firmware to the DMT version of CBOS (the Cisco
678 operating system). Cisco 675s cannot be upgraded to DMT.

You'll be downloading the firmware over a serial connection. You will do that with
Hyperterminal using XMODEM. Once you've upgraded the firmware you'll need to
reconfigure the router. You can do that with Hyperterminal or you can download
a program from the Qwest website called Commander that is a graphical program
designed to talk to the Cisco 675.

Or you can get a new Actiontec Modem.
