DUN (dialup networking) in Windows95/98 may not be able to remember&lt;br /&gt;
passwords, or the &amp;#039;save password&amp;#039; check-box is permanently greyed out.&lt;br /&gt;

====Resolution====&lt;br /&gt;
Common solutions to this problem are:&lt;br /&gt;
  &lt;br /&gt;
* Install &amp;#039;Client for Microsoft Networks&amp;#039; in your Network control panel, then&lt;br /&gt;
reboot the computer.&lt;br /&gt;
  &lt;br /&gt;
* Make sure you log into Windows, instead of hitting &amp;#039;Cancel&amp;#039; when the Windows&lt;br /&gt;
logon appears.&lt;br /&gt;
  &lt;br /&gt;
