New page

===Outlook 2000 not sending messages===
Article:55
Created:1999-09-01 16:40:12
Categories:
Windows 95
Windows 98
Windows NT 4

====Question or Symptom====
If you have someone who's having trouble sending an email and is
exhibiting the symptom of being stuck in the 'Outbox', try having them
do this:

====Resolution====
Go into tools, then options and then the second tab, I think it's called
'Mail Delivery' or something similar. In the second section, there is a box
to check, 'Send mail immediately when connected'. Check this box. When the
person is connected, highlights a message and clicks on send, it will
ACTUALLY SEND! Imagine that.

Also when they are in the 'compose' mode, the little button in the
upper left marked 'send' will do what it says, send the message.
Wonderfulness!
