====Question or Symptom====
When people get Megabit Service they might want to have an FTP server, a
web server or they might have an MS Exchange server. If they are wanting
to have one of those types of services then they will need to set up
port forwarding.

====Resolution====
In the Cisco 675 port forwarding is a function of NAT.

First log into to the router and when you put in the exec password then put
in the enable password.

The comand to set up port forwarding is:

set nat entry add ''internal ip of server'' ''port number'' ''protocol''

Protocol is tcp, udp, or ip(both).

For example to set up a mail server whose LAN address is 192.168.0.2:

set nat entry add 192.168.0.2 25 tcp

(Note: this is usually used in concert with a static IP address, and a domain.
The MX record for a domain will point to the WAN IP address of the router.
To test this and make sure it's working, from a machine outside this network
you'd telnet to the static IP address on port 25. You should now be talking
to the mail server running on 192.168.0.2)
