====Question or Symptom====
I am not at home, but I need to check my email or send someone an email.
How can I do that?

====Resolution====
How to access the web based email for SWCP

You can access your email with us from our website. Our web based email
is called TWIG. You can do this from any computer with an Internet
connection and a web browser such as Internet Explorer, Netscape,
Mozilla, Safari, or Opera. Any Internet cafe or public library (in the
USA) should have these.

If you have any troubles with using TWIG while travelling, give the help
desk a call 505-232-7992 (tollfree 1-888-792-7266), 8:30am to 10pm Mon-Fri,
9am to 6pm weekends, Mountain time.

1. Go to our main website, http://www.swcp.com/
: You can do this one of two ways:
:# In the Address bar at the top of the browser, erase out the web address there. Type in our address (www.swcp.com) and hit enter.
:# If you search for "Southwest Cyberport", the first link should be our website.
2. On the left-hand side of our web page, there are some links. The first one should say "Web based email". Click on that link.

3. This will take you to the TWIG login page. It will ask you for your username and password. Use the username and password that you regularly
use for your email with us. It is usually the same as the first part of
your email address, so if you were bob@swcp.com, your username would be bob.
* It will '''''not''''' be the username that starts with a capital P.
: Username:
: Password:
4. After you have put in your username and password, click on "Log In".

5. This will take you to the main TWIG page. To access your email, click on "Mail".

6. You will then see a list of the messages in your Inbox on our server.
: Often, any messages which you have downloaded to your computer will not be shown here, because your email program has instructed our server to delete them on our side.
: They are still available on your computer at home ... just not in TWIG.
: By default, TWIG will show the oldest messages first.
:: If you click on the "Date" heading, TWIG will show the newest messages first.
7. From here, you can read messages, reply to messages, send new messages.

8. When you are done, click on "Logout" in the upper right-hand corner.
: If you do not log out, anyone using the computer after you will be able to read your email or send email from your email address.

To read messages from the Inbox:

# Find the message that you want to read in your Inbox. Click on the Subject field (it will be underlined and in blue).
# Read the message.
# To delete the message, click on "Delete". It is near the top of the page in the middle.
# To reply to the message, click on "Reply". It is near the top of the page in the middle.
# To return to the Inbox, click on "Back to Inbox". It is near the top of the page on the right.

To send a new message from the Inbox:

# Click on "New Message". It is near the top of the page in the middle.
# Fill in the To field with the recipient's address.
# Fill in the Subject field with the subject of your email.
# Write the message in the large space provided.
# Click on "Send now".

To delete multiple messages from TWIG:

# Make sure you are viewing the Inbox, not a single message. Click on "Back to Inbox" if you are currently viewing a single message.
# To the right of each message listing is a checkbox. Check the messages that you wish to delete.
# At the bottom of the page, click on "Delete Selected".
# The image in the Status column will change for the deleted items. They will now have a trashcan image.
# To completely delete those messages, click on "Empty Trash". It is near the top of the page in the middle.

'''''Remember! Any messages you delete in TWIG are completely gone!'''''

To exit out of TWIG:

: Click on "Logout" in the upper right-hand corner.

Have a pleasant trip!
