Removing a cached form item in Firefox
Have you ever typed your password where your username should go?
Or missed the tab key and typed your username and password all in the same field?
Now that entry is stuck in Firefox's autofill cache and anyone using your computer or standing behind you while you type can see it.
You don't necessarily want to clear your entire cache, just get rid of that item. It turns out to be pretty easy, but not obvious how to do that.
1. to a form where that field would autofill.
2. Click in the text field, but don't type anything.
3. Pull your mouse down to the item that you want to remove and hold the Shift, and press Delete.
The item is removed.
