Getting Diagnostic Information from a CenturyLink modem

How to obtain your DSL circuit health

Step 0: Write down the admin password from the last line on the green and white sticker from the side of the modem. This is the admin password, not the key/passhphrase.

Step 1: Log in to the modem's web interface at: http://192.168.0.1/

Step 2: Once you are logged in, click on the Yellow Modem Setup button.

Step 3: On the left hand side, click on DSL Status (or DSL1 and/or DSL2) and copy the all of the data listed in all of the tables from that page.

Step 4: Paste all of that info in a text document or an email. Please send the email (along with your name and address) to: help@swcp.com

You now have told us how healthy your DSL circuit is.

Optional: Authentication State and Addressing

Follow Step 1-2 How to obtain your DSL circuit health

Then click on Internet Status.

Copy and paste all of the data listed in all of the tables. Please send the information (along with your name and address) to: help@swcp.com

Optional: Modem's Syslog

Follow Step 1-2 How to obtain your DSL circuit health

Click on the Blue Utilities button and click on System Log on the left hand side.

Click on the Download button. And attach that to an email without modifying it. Please send the log (along with your name and address) to: help@swcp.com
