Size limit on email messages
Article:28 Created:2000-05-18 00:09:20 Categories: E-mail
Question or Symptom
How big a file can I send through e-mail?
Resolution
The limit our mail server will accept is 22 MB. However, this is more than many mail servers will accept, so your message may not be deliverable if it is going outside of SWCP. Keep in mind that e-mail was not designed for such large messages and when possible you should use FTP instead of e-mail to transmit very large files.
SWCP provides a download area for short term file exchange in: ftp://ftp.swcp.com/pub/tmp.
