Can I get an email notification when a file is uploaded?
Yes. You'll need to edit one of the CGI files, Manager.pl. You'll find this in cgi-bin/FileManager. The following variables are related to this question:
- $sendConfirmUpload - set this to 1, to allow email notification.
- $send_as_html - set this to 1 for HTML formatted email
- $fromAdmin - this is the email address the message will come from
- $toAdmin - this is the email address the message will be sent to
It is important that the $toAdmin email address is valid. By default this will be configured as username@yourdomain. Where username is the account where the website is installed, and yourdomain is the domain the website is installed on.
