The BUS client keeps a log of everything it does. Occasionally an issue comes up that requires seeing the BUS client's log file to solve. Here's how to send the BUS logs to tech support.

Find the log directory

We're looking for a directory called ".obm". It will likely be in the home directory of the person who installed the BUS software. For example, on a Windows system it will be somewhere like C:\Documents and Settings\johnsmith\.obm (where "johnsmith" is your username).

Send the logs to SWCP

Once you find the .obm directory, there will be a subdirectory called "log". The easiest thing to do is zip that directory into a file. Right-click on the log directory, select "Send To", and then "Compressed (zipped) directory". That should create a file called log.zip in the .obm directory. Email that file to help@swcp.com as an attachment.
