Actiontec 1520 (white one) or GT701-wg (gray one) firmware update info.

Question or Symptom

Some earlier Actiontec firmwares will fail to save their configuration done through certian web browsers. Other odd behavior can be attributed to firmware bugs. If you are having trouble with your router consider a firmware upgrade. Aside from bug fixes there are generally security updates, it's always a good idea to keep your equipment up to date.


Resolution

Qwest does recommend upgrading users to the latest version of firmware for the Actiontec GT701-wg when troubleshooting. Please consider upgrading your 1520(white model) or GT701-wg (gray/black model) firmware to the latest release if you are experiencing DSL trouble, it may well solve your problem outright.
