Can I use your spam filters with Majordomo?

I've got a mailing list and people send spam to it. How can I get rid of this spam?

Resolution

You can take advantage of our Spam rating system by adding the following to your Taboo Body (in your configuration file).

/X-Spam-Status: Yes/
 

When spam comes in you'll see either:

Subject: BOUNCE cats@swcp.com:    Non-member submission
                 or
Subject: BOUNCE cats@swcp.com:     taboo body match "/X-Spam-Status: Yes/"
 

You can add these to a subject blacklist. Note the Non-member check is made first, so the Spam bounce will only be seen if a member (or a spoofed member) submits spam.
