How do I enable file uploads?

Most configuration changes for MediaWiki are made by editting the file LocalSettings.php. In LocalSettings.php you'll need to edit or add the following lines:

 $wgEnableUploads       = true;
 $wgCheckFileExtensions = true;
 $wgFileExtensions =     array( 'png', 'gif', 'jpg', 'jpeg' );

This allows file uploads, checks extensions, and only allows .png, .gif, .jpg, and .jpeg.
