In the top-level directory of the wiki installation, there is a file called "LocalSettings.php" which has some settings you may want to change. You can download it with an FTP program, edit it in a text editor, then upload it back to the server. A couple of the things you may want to change:

  • To replace the default MediaWiki logo that is in the top left corner of every page, add a line to define a variable called $wgLogo and set its value to the URL of the image you want to use. Like so:
$wgLogo = "http://www.mysite.com/logo.jpg";
  • The wiki "site name" is in the LocalSettings.php (the $wgSitename variable).
