What is FTP?

Resolution

File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is your source for files on the Internet.
You can down-load games, images, informative text, databases, and just
about anything that can be stored on a disk. You can use FTP with an
FTP client such as WS_FTP for Windows or Fetch for Mac. Most web
browsers now support FTP as well, you can enter an FTP URL into your
