cgi-bin programs available for SWCP customers

NOTE: This page is under development

Southwest Cyberport has made a few useful cgi-bin programs avaiable for all of our users to use. These items can be used by any user without requiring any knowledge of programming or Unix. You only need to enough HTML to be able to invoke these programs.

Except for the fax gateway service, these cgi-bin programs are stored in SWCP's global /cgi-bin directory. That means that you do not need to have your own cgi-bin directory in order to use them. Even if you already have your own cgi-bin directory, you do not need to have copyies of these programs in your own directory. In the documentation, when it says to use /cgi-bin in your URLs, use exactly that, /cgi-bin.

The cgi-bin programs currently available are:

Fax Gateway

Send responses to your HTML forms via Fax. Note: The fax gateway service requires that you have your own cgi-bin directory (see the web publishing pricing). There is also a 20 cents/page charge for the fax gateway for faxes up to 3 pages long. Please request at help@swcp.com to have this service turned on.

Email Form Responder

This program allows you to write HTML Forms without any programing. The user's input is e-mailed to you.

Similar to the Email Form Responder but saves the form data to a file instead of emailing it to you.
