cgi-bin programs available for SWCP customers

Southwest Cyberport has made a few useful cgi-bin programs avaiable for all of our users to use. These items can be used by any user without requiring any knowledge of programming or Unix. You only need to enough HTML to be able to invoke these programs.

These cgi-bin programs are stored in SWCP's global /cgi-bin directory. That means that you do not need to have your own cgi-bin directory in order to use them. Even if you already have your own cgi-bin directory, you do not need to have copies of these programs in your own directory. In the documentation, when it says to use /cgi-bin in your URLs, use exactly that, /cgi-bin.

The cgi-bin programs currently available are:

This program allows you to write HTML Forms without any programing. The user's input is e-mailed to you.

This program allows you to write HTML Forms without any programming. The user's input is e-mailed to you, and it has added anti-spam functionality by providing a CAPTCHA.

Note: this form does require the end customer to have Javascript enabled, and you will need to have us install a captcha module if you're using this with your own domain. You must have cgi enabled, so you'll need the Pro web hosting package. If you're using this functionality with a URL that looks like http:// pages.swcp.com/~me, you don't need any additional programs or CGI.

Similar to the Email Form Responder but saves the form data to a file instead of emailing it to you.

Keep track of the number of people who visit your home page.
