Article:122 Created:2001-10-18 18:33:59 Categories: E-mail
Question or Symptom
I'm getting a lot of spam and I'd like to filter it out. I'm using Netscape as my mail client.
Resolution
1. Open Netscape Messenger
2. Click on the Edit menu and select Message Filters
3. The Message Filters window appears.
4. Click on the New button to create a new filter.
5. The Filter Rules window appears.
6. Give the filter a name, like "Spam block".
To delete messages from spammer@spammy.com, select "Match any of the
following", the "Sender" of the message "contains" "spammer@spammy.com"
then "delete".
7. Click OK on to complete the filter.
8. Click OK to close the Message Filters window.
See URL below for screen shots of the filter windows.
