How to set up a Cisco router for a New Edge Reach T1 circuit

Resolution

There are many different models of Cisco routers. The main difference between them (for this config) is that the interface names might be different. E.g. Ethernet0 vs Ethernet0/0 vs FastEthernet0/0. The following config was designed on a Cisco 2600. Make adjustments for your router accordingly.

The following contains only the relavent parts of the config needed to use the Reach T1. Your full config will have many additional things in it. This configuration includes a NAT setup. If you aren't using NAT, leave out all the commands with the word "nat" in them. This example uses the following parameters which you need to substitute with values for your own configuration:

 LAN IP: 192.168.0.1
 LAN Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
 WAN IP: 217.189.20.67
