How do I look at / modify / change broamax dhcp info (the telnet way)
Article:305 Created:2004-08-30 18:20:42 Categories: DSL
Question or Symptom
You want to inspect or change some dhcp config in your broadmax. Some clients can't get leases, others can. No one can get a lease, but dhcp is enabled.
Resolution
The broadmax sets a 720 hour lease time by default. I don't know how to clear this database when it is full without deleting and recreating the pool which is also very easy. First I'll give some commands to show the dhcp config, then I'll give an example of deleting and recreating the pool. Pieces of the same commands from the create command below can be used in the modify dhcp command as well. I'll give an example of modifying the pool dns, note you must delete and recreate a pool to resize it's start/end addresses.
