How do I make NT automatically dial when I open an Internet application?

Question or Symptom

Opening Netscape, Outlook, etc doesn't cause the modem to dial.

Resolution

The following are the addresses of the MS knowledge base articles which have various suggestions for why autodialing might not work, and what registry keys the autodial support uses.

Of particular interest is the last link listed below, which claims that there's a bug which causes autodial not to work after more than one login to an NT machine.
